Space Asteroids Game UI design

Hello!

There was an international student conference at my university. As a project for the conference, I decided to develop my own game. The main topic of the conference was interface prototyping.

The style of the game was inspired by the old arcade game Asteroids (1979). Visually, the game partially repeats it, but looks modern and dynamic.
Main menu.

Made in white and black colors. Contains buttons for setting and starting a new game.
Retry menu.

Contains the best score in the number of points, as well as a button to try again.
Game Interface.


Appears directly during the game. Contains the number of lives, time and number of points.
"Red October" was chosen as the font for the game's main logo, as it is very retro.
Early gameplay video of the game. The main goal was to show how the interface works.
